The best way to maintain the shoes is to use wax and cream. When you use creamthe leather is being cleaned, nourished, prevented and polished. The cream paints on the other hand, polishes the leather, removes the dust and makes it impermeable to water.


RULE 1 - Cleaning the shoes

First remove the dust and the mud from the shoes with a not very soft brush. The size of the brush hairs should not be more than 2 cm. Only after that you can take care of the leather.

RULE 2 - Soaping

Use special leather cleaning soap Casablanca and tepid water to make enough foam. With the help of a brush Casablanca, made of horsehair cover the surface of the shoes equally to prevent the forming of spots.

RULE 3 - Cleaning the soles

Rub and clean the soles gently with the horsehair brush. After the soles are being washed, it is obligatory to apply a little olive oil for leather to the soles of the shoes.

RULE 4 - Drying up

Put special shoe forms in the shoes and leave them at a room temperature so that they can dry up. Never use the radiator or the electric heater to dry up the shoes.

RULE 5 - Polishing

Apply cream on the shoes using the special spreading brush. The cream refreshes the colour of the leather. Leave the shoes for at least 1 hour for the cream to penetrate in the leather (in case you are short of time, leave the shoes at the least 5 min). Only after that you can start the polishing procedure.

RULE 6 - Polishing

Roll a small piece of cloth round your fingers. Damp the cloth in water. Slowly polish the whole surface of the shoes with circular movements. Gradually reduce the wax. The wax increases the water ressistant qualities of the leather.

ADVICE - Storing

You have to store your shoes by putting special shoe forms in them. In this way the wrinkles produced by the process of walking are removed and the shoes return its initial form.
The right maintenance is:
- improves the look of the shoes;
- prevents the shoes from moisture;
- drives back the mud;
- prolongs the life of your shoes.
